Well, it's one day after my due date and there's still no baby! I went to the doctor yesterday and nothing had changed....still not dilated and the baby is still kinda high so that's a bummer. They sent me for some testing to monitor the babies heart rate and monitor my contractions. Everything was good, I had a few braxton hicks contractions while i was there but of course they didn't produce anything. So it looks like unless I have her naturally before then, they will start some of the induction process on the night of the 31st and then really get things moving the morning of the 1st. So unless she decides to come out on her own she will be evicted on April 1st! The Doctor says she's going to be big....hopefully not too big to fit, but we'll see. I'm praying she decides to just come out on her own!!

Only 2 more days!!
It has been a very long time since I updated. I figured I would update to hopefully avoid pulling my hair out with anticipation! I only have 2 more days until my due date!! I can't believe it's already practically here...I honestly thought the day would ever come, it always just seemed so far away. As the due date grows closer and closer I get more and more frustrated with the fact that I am still not dilated at all!! I go to the doctor again on Wednesday...my due date... so hopefully I will atleast be dilated. They will talk about scheduling an induction at my appointment on Wednesday. I think the average amount of time they give you to go naturally after your due date is 10 days...
I really don't want to have to wait for 10 days after my due date to have this baby, I'm just not sure i can deal with that! I'm already an emotional wreck just having to wait until my due date!! I think I find myself in tears everyday b/c i'm just so ready to not be pregnant anymore. It's not that I don't like being pregnant...it's been an awesome experience, it's just that I am so ready to hold my little baby. Plus the insomnia and never ending pain of pregnancy is wearing on me! Oh and the fact that i'm the size of a house doesn't help things either. Anyway...I think I may have to beg the doctor to induce me sooner if i'm still not dilated on Wednesday!
Please pray that she comes naturally.....preferably tonight?!?!

Crazy couple weeks!
So the past couple weeks have been the craziest. It seems like if something was going to go wrong it did. Let me start with the list....
1. First our washer got off balance and started leaking all the water out the bottom of the washer. It ended up being a hose issue and luckily was still covered under warranty. But it slightly flooded our laundry room.
2. The basement drain ( which is in between the laundry room and the spare room down stairs) overflowed and flooded both rooms. Luckily nothing really got ruined except for some stained carpet in the spare room. It turns out our sewer pipe thing was backed up. So we had to call someone to come "snake" it out. All is good now but now we need to get a camera thing run through the pipe to make sure the pipe isn't damaged.
3. We woke up on a Sunday morning to a house that was 50 degrees! The furnace quit working through the night so we had to call a repair guy to come out so we didn't freeze to death b/c it was around 20 outside. He had to replace some part and relight our pilot light. It's working fine now, so hopefully it stays that way!
4. I went to the doctor ....I think it was last Wednesday. It started as a pretty normal appointment...the doctor always just asks if the baby is still moving a lot and listens to the heartbeat and then measures my belly. Well I told the Dr. that she hasn't really been moving as much as she normally did and then he said well her heart rate was down a good bit from my last appointment. So he sent me to the hospital to get a non-stress test. Of course I flip out and am sobbing in the Dr. office, so they made me call Alan and have him meet me at the hospital so I wouldn't be freaking out alone. So at the hospital they hooked me up to some monitors on my belly and monitored her heart rate for about a half hour. They said her heart rate couldn't have been better and that she must have just been sleeping at the office and that's why he got such a low rate then. And they think that my placenta may be right in the front of my belly and is blocking a lot of her kicks and punches and that's why I'm not feeling her as much. Plus she's starting to run out of room in there. I go to the Dr. again this coming Monday so hopefully everything will still be ok.
5. On Friday I came home to discover that Cooper had ripped up a big part of our kitchen floor. We had recently ripped up all the carpet in the living room to get to the hardwood floor and hadn't yet replaced the strip between the kitchen and living room. So Cooper managed to get a hold of the floor in the kitchen and destroy it. So now we have to replace the entire kitchen floor! Just not a really good time to have to spend money on the kitchen floor.
6. Cooper started licking and biting at his back paw a lot and wouldn't leave it alone. So we examined his foot and one of his little toes was swollen and red. We took him to the vet and they said his nailbed was infected. So they gave us an antibiotic to give him and ove of those cone collars so he can't bite at his foot. Well he absolutely hates the cone thing. When we put it on him he just freezes and wont do anything....not even sit down or lay down. It's pretty pitiful! I just can't bring myself to make him wear it....and it seems like he's not really that interested in licking it anymore so I figure he doesn't really need to wear it anyway. We'll see though.
So I think that's all the crazy things that have happened all in the span of about 2 weeks!
We only have one more Lamaze class left, which is crazy!! The time has really gone by fast. So after we're done with the Lamaze class we just have a parenting class in the middle of February and then we're done with all the classes and will hopefully be ready to have this baby! I can't believe I'm already 32 weeks pregnant! I will be full-term in 5 weeks and my due date is only 8 weeks away!! CRAZY I can't decide if I think she will be early, on time, or late. Some days I think early but I dunno. I don't really think i'll be late just b/c she's growing right on target...so i'm not sure if they would let me go late and risk her being too big. But who really knows, I guess anything is possible.
I'll try to update again after my next appointment on Monday!

7 Months!
I had my 7 month doctor checkup last week! Everything is still looking good. I got the results from my glucose test I did last month...all was good. My level was 117 and anything under 140 is considered in the clear. So that was a relief. I did however, gain 8 lbs this month! Yikes! I guess I ate a little too many holiday goodies. I'm not panicking too much because I've still only gained 12 lbs the whole pregnancy....which I think is pretty darn good. The doctor didn't seem concerned that I had gained so much this month, he said I had some catching up to do anyway since I had lost weight the first couple months from being sick. I'm starting to get a really big belly...and it's starting to be uncomfortably big at times. Sometimes it just feels like it is stretched to the max and uncomfortable....I know I have still have a good bit of growing to do though so hopefully being uncomfortable wont last the rest of the pregnancy. The biggest annoyance is not being able to get a full nights sleep. First of all it's hard to get comfortable enough to fall asleep and then when i do fall asleep I end up waking up because either my back hurts, my shoulder hurts, or I have to pee! It's just frustrating. Oh well, it will all be worth it, besides I guess I need to get used to not sleeping a full night considering I wont be sleeping all night when the baby comes anyway! Well now I go to the doctor every 2 weeks so I will update again after my appointment on January 21st!

Baby News
Wow it has been quite a while since I posted last. A lot has happened since my last post. I am now almost 26 weeks pregnant! So i'm getting ready to start my 3rd trimester soon, it's so unbelievable that i'm already 6 months pregnant and the baby will be here before we know it! I am definitely looking pregnant now. I have a pretty big baby bump now and I am definitely feeling the affects of the extra weight in the front. My back is taking quite a beating trying to hold the belly, and I know it is only going to get worse as the belly gets bigger. I am really happy to say I've only gained 4 lbs. the whole pregnancy so far! I was very happy about that, I was afraid I would gain like crazy because I normally gain weight very easily.....I guess the baby is taking all of the extra calories instead of my butt though, so that's good.
We did find out the sex of the baby.....It's a GIRL! We were so excited to find out it was a girl. We of course would have been thrilled to have a little boy, but there are a lot of boys in both mine and Alan's family so we were happy to be adding a girl to the mix. We are going to name her Alana Marie.....pronounced like Alayna..... We wanted to keep the spelling similar to Alan's name and my middle name is Marie as well. In Alan's family there are 3 boys and 1 girl and she is names after her dad....His name was Eric and she is Erica....so we wanted to kinda carry on that little bit of a tradition in case she is the only girl we have. My dad thinks we will have all girls....which I would be very happy about, we'll see though. I need to have this baby before I start planning for the other babies!
Well I have my next doctor appointment on January 2nd and then all of our pregnancy classes start in January, so i'm sure I will have lots to update after all those exciting things!

I figured I should update....even though not too much is going on. I have just been working and taking care of Cooper. This week I've been working a lot.....well 20 hours....which is a lot for this job. But next week I don't have as many hours so that will be a nice break. I really want to get back into scrapbooking. I just need to clean off my table so I can spread all of my supplies out and then print off some pictures to scrapbook with. Hopefully next week i can get back into it. Alan is going to the WVU game this Saturday, I still haven't decided if i'm going to go to Morgantown with him or not. We would be coming back Saturday evening so I may just stay home with Cooper instead of making him go in the car since he doesn't really like it too much. On Sunday we are going to a pumpkin farm with my family. I can't wait to get to pick our own pumpkins and get apple cider. Next week is my 4 month checkup already! Can't wait....hopefully i'll get to find out what i'm having soon. I can't wait!

2nd Doctor appointment!
Yesterday I had my second appointment at the OB office. It was really quick....like 5 minutes. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I went but all they did was ask how I was feeling and then listened to the babies heartbeat. They said everything looks good. They are going to wait until my next appointment ( in 4 weeks) to order my check up ultrasound. That was hopefully we can find out the sex of the baby at the same time. I can't wait to find out what I'm having. I really think it's a boy, but I would love to be proved wrong! Either way I will be extremely happy........but the stuff for the girl nursery stuff is just soooooo cute! Anyway, I think i'm going to go to the new outlets, in Washington, with my mom this weekend. I am really excited that they are so close to my house! I really hope the Old Navy there has a maternity section just to I can see some of the stuff. I can't fit in any of it yet, but I want to get an idea of what will probably fit me in a month. Exciting stuff!!
